If you run into any trouble during installation, follow the instructions below:

1. Allow installation from unknown sources

For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.

If your phone shows a message like «For your security, installing from this source is not allowed», this is a standard Android safeguard for any app installed outside Google Play — it doesn't mean anything is wrong with this specific app.

  1. In that message, tap «Settings».
  2. Turn on the toggle «Allow from this source».
  3. Go back and open the file again — you should now see an «Install» button.

Don't see this message at all? Your phone may already allow it — just continue with the installation, no extra steps needed. If your screen looks different from the one above: open your phone's Settings and type «unknown sources» (or «install unknown apps») into the search bar at the top — this will take you to the right screen regardless of your phone model.

2. Samsung only: Auto Blocker

To keep your phone and data safe, Auto Blocker prevents the installation of unknown apps. You can only install apps from authorised sources such as the Play Store or Galaxy Store.

To remove this protection, go to Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker.

Some Samsung phones have an extra layer of protection called Auto Blocker, on top of the standard Android permission above — if you see a message saying the install was blocked, this is likely why.

  1. Open your phone's Settings and type «Auto Blocker» into the search bar.
  2. Temporarily turn off Auto Blocker (or, if available separately, just the «Block app installs» option).

  1. Go back and install the app.
  2. You can turn Auto Blocker back on afterward — this won't affect the app once it's installed.

If installation goes through without any blocked message, you can skip this — nothing more to do here.
